PHILSTAIN 430
AWS Specification: AWS A5.4 E430-16
JIS Specification: JIS D430-16
DINSpecification: DIN EN 1600:1997 E17R 12
I. APPLICATIONS:
PHILSTAIN 430 is for welding of 17% Cr stainless steel such as SUS430.
II. DESCRIPTION:
PHILSTAIN 430 is a lime titania type of electrode for all-position welding. It shows good corrosion resistibility and good oxidation resistibility to Nitric Acid.
III. NOTES ON USAGE:
-
Keep the arc length as short as possible.
-
Weaving width should be within two and a half times electrode diameter
-
The welding current should be used as low as possible.
-
Dry electrode at 300-350 deg C for 30-60 minutes before use.
-
Preheat interpass temperature at 150-250 °C
-
PWHT at 700-820 °C
