PHILHARD 300 LH
AWS Specification:NONE
JIS Specification: DF2A-300B
Other Specification: DIN E1-300
I. APPLICATIONS:
Hard surfacing of various wheels, cast steel rollers and bulldozer’s parts
II. DESCRIPTION:
PHILHARD 300 LH is a lime type electrode which has stable hardness and toughness. It is suitable for intermetallic abrasion and medium impact abrasion. Machining is possible in general. Its hardness increases by quenching after machining.
III. NOTES ON USAGE:
-
Preheating is unnecessary in general. But it is more safe to preheat at 150ºC and over, if large weldments are required to surfacing.
-
In the case of high cooling rate, preheat or postheat to avoid difficulty of machining caused by hardening..
-
Dry the electrodes at 300~350ºC for 30~60 minutes before use.
