PHILSTAIN 410
AWS Specification: AWS A5.4 E410-16
JIS Specification: JIS D410-16
Other Specification: DIN 8556 E13 R 26
I. APPLICATIONS:
Welding of 13%Cr steel such as AlSl410, SUS420J1, SUS420J2. build-up welding of water runner where cavitation or erosion resistability is required.
II. DESCRIPTION:
PHILSTAIN 410 is a lime-titania type electrode of good usability in all position welding. Oxidation and corrosion resistibilities of weld metal are good. It is used for surfacing of the part where corrosion resistibility is required in chemical and petroleum industry.
III. NOTES ON USAGE:
-
Preheat at 200 – 400°C as weld metal has self-hardeing properties.
-
Postheat at 700 - 800°C in order to improve the structure and to stress relieve after welding.
