PHILHARD 400LH
JIS DF2A-450-B
DIN 8555: E1-UM-400
I. APPLICATIONS:
Hard surfacing of bulldozer links, idlers, rollers and sprockets, etc.
II. DESCRIPTION:
The deposited metal of PHILHARD 400LH is designed to give an excellent hardness and resistance to cracking. It is suitable for hard surfacing of heavy duty intermetallic abrasion and light impact abrasion such as bulldozer parts. Its machining is a little bit difficult as welded condition.
III. NOTES ON USAGE:
-
Preheat at 150ºC and over in general.
-
In the case of multi-layer build-up welding or hardenable steel welding, underlay with low hydrogen type electrode (PA-52).
-
Dry the electrodes at 300~350ºC for 30~60 minutes before use.
