PHiLARC - The No. 1 Choice of Welders

PHILHARD 710

AWS Specification : AWS EFeCr-A1

JIS Specfication : NONE

Other Specification :DIN E10-UM-60-GRZ

I. APPLICATIONS:

Excellent suitability for hardfacing on conveyor screws, excavator bucket teeth, sand and slurry pumps, and mixer paddles. Hardfacing of sustenitic manganese steels, to layer. Preheating generally not required.

II. DESCRIPTION:

Low hydrogen hardfacing electrode against abrasion and pressure and moderate impact loads. Chromium carbide welding electrode with high-efficiency electrode with 165% metal recovery. The weld seam is noted for its extremely finely rippled beads and by very easy slag removal. For extra abrasion best little impact stress.

III. NOTES ON USAGE:

Guide the electrode accordingly steeply, with a short arc. Do not butter the passes too thick. Peen the weld thoroughly on stress prone workpieces. With Mn steels use the lowest amperage possible. Weld only with dry electrodes.

The information contained or otherwise referenced herein is presented only as “typical” without guarantee or warranty, and Industrial Welding Corporation expressly disclaims any liability incurred from any reliance thereon. Typical data and Test results for mechanical properties, deposit or electrode composition and other properties were obtained from a weld produced and tested according to prescribed standards, and should not be assumed to be the expected results in a particular application or weldment. Actual results will vary depending on many factors, including, but not limited to, weld procedure, plate chemistry and temperature, weldment design and fabrication methods. Users are cautioned to confirm by qualification testing, or other appropriate means, the suitability of any welding consumable and procedure before use in the intended application.
