Nickelarc 7000
AWS Specification :AWS A5.11 E NiCrMo-5
JIS Specification: NONE
Other Specification:NONE
I. APPLICATIONS:
Welding of HASTELLOY C. Welding between HASTELLOY C and dissimilar metals. Surfacing of valve seats, forging molds, and the parts which corrosion resistibility is required.
II. DESCRIPTION:
Nickelarc 7000 is called HASTELLOY C which consists of Nickelarc 112 elements. It is effective for of Nickel 112 elements. It is effective for surfacing of the parts which corrosion or heat resistibility are required.
III. NOTES ON USAGE:
-
Its weldability is as same as austenitic stainless steels.
-
Keep the interlayer temperature under 100ºC and cool it as fast as possible.
-
Keep the welding current as low as possible.
-
Dry the electrodes at 150 ~ 200ºC for 30 ~ 60 minutes before use.
