PHILARC AL-BRONZE CuAl-D
AWS Specification : AWS A5.6 E CuAl-D
JIS Specification: NONE
Other Specification: NONE
I. APPLICATIONS:
Higher yield strength and hardness than PHILARC ECuAl-C.
II. NOTES ON USAGE:
-
Keep the welding current as low as possible in the case of first-layer welding.
-
Preheating is not necessary in the case of lining of mild steels. The preheating temperatures varies in accordance with quality of base metal, a preheating temperature of 150 - 250ºC is required in general.
-
Preheat at 250ºC-300ºC is necessary in the case of welding brass.
-
The preheat temperatures varies in accordance with the preheat temperatures.
-
Keep the arc length as short as possible and don’t use too much weaving.
