PHILHARD 610R
AWS Specification:NONE
JIS Specification:DFA-600-R
Other Specification:DIN E2-60
I. APPLICATIONS:
Hard surfacing of bulldozer links, bucket edges and dipper teeth, etc.
II. DESCRIPTION:
PHILHARD 610R is an electrode having weld metal of martensite structure. It is very suitable for soil abrasion. Machining is impossible as-welded condition.
III. NOTES ON USAGE:
-
Preheat at 150ºC and over in general.
-
It is recommended to underlay with low hydrogen type electrode (PA-52 or PA-7018) in case the base plate is hardenable or multi-layer welding is required.
-
Dry the electrodes at 300~350ºC for 30~60 minutes before use.
