I. APPLICATIONS:
Hard surfacing of gears, shafts and wheels.
II. DESCRIPTION:
NHF-260B is a titania type electrode which is designed to put prime importance on good usability and good machining property. It is suitable for reclaiming the light worn-out parts. Quenching after machining is also possible.
III. NOTES ON WELDING:
-
Preheating is unnecessary in general. But in the case of build-up welding of large cast steel and low alloy steel, need to preheat at 150-200ºC.
-
The groove repairing is prone to slag inclusion so adjust the holding angle of the electrode.
-
Dry the electrodes at 80-120ºC for 30-60 minutes before use.
